Our rating6/10

Tell your bot about a house job when you think of it. Send a photo, and it finds the parts you need and a store that has them.

What it does by itselfIt adds jobs to your own list and does research. It does not buy anything.

How it works

One homeowner tells his bot about each house job when he remembers it. The bot adds the job to a project list in a task app called Linear. One day he had to clear the water from his garden sprinklers before winter. He sent photos of the water pump. The bot found the steps and the parts he needed. It also found which Home Depot stores had the parts. The bot also keeps a list of facts that it learns from each job. For example, it knows the year, make, and model of his cars, and the oil and filter each car needs.

How to set it up

  1. Connect a task app, or ask the bot to keep the list in a file.
  2. Tell the bot about a house job as soon as you think of it.
  3. For a repair, send photos. Ask what parts you need and where to buy them.
  4. Ask it to keep a list of home facts, such as car models and filter sizes.

What people report

Why we rate it 6 out of 10
