Getting Started
Find out which bots use up most of your weekly allowance
From X 2 sources
Give your main bot your usage file. It shows which bots and jobs use the most, and what to cut so your allowance lasts all week.
What it does by itselfIt only reads the file and gives advice. You decide what to stop or delete.
How it works
Grok Bot plans come with a weekly amount of use, called an allowance. One user shares a quick way to use less. Go to Usage in the Grok dashboard and download the usage file. It is a CSV file, which is a simple table. Send it to your main bot and ask it to study how your bots work and how to use less. He says this saves at least 10 to 15% each week. A second user has a bot that checks all his bots every morning. It marks each bot green, yellow, or red. It found 3 empty or copied bots. It also found one bot that used a lot because it made images and videos. He deleted the empty bots himself.
How to set it up
- Open the Grok dashboard and go to Usage.
- Download the usage file.
- Send it to your main bot.
- Ask: Study this usage file and tell me how to use less.
- Decide yourself which bots or jobs to stop.
Grok Dashboard > Usage > Export CSV. Upload it to your Chief of Staff. "Check this usage file and analyze my bot behaviours and tell me how we should optimize for usage"
Set it up in 5 minutes
Paste this to your bot. It makes a small job that runs on a schedule. More prompts like this
Find out what uses up your allowance
You send the bot your usage file from the Grok dashboard. It tells you which bots and jobs use the most, and suggests 3 changes.
You need: Nothing extra
Here is my usage file from the Grok dashboard. Tell me which bots and scheduled jobs use the most. Suggest 3 changes that would help me use less. Do not delete, pause, or change any bot or job. I will decide what to do.
What people report
One user says he uses 10 to 15% less each week. Another says his daily use fell from 25% to about 7.5% of his weekly allowance (both are their own reports).
Why we rate it 7 out of 10
It takes 10 minutes and helps anyone who runs out of allowance. The savings numbers are what users say, not numbers we checked.
