Work & Business
A team of 9 bots that helps a founder find first customers
From xAI and a website 2 sources
Bots research, write drafts, and prepare work at night. The founder reads and sends everything. Nothing goes out without a yes.
What it does by itselfIt researches and writes drafts. Nothing is sent, posted, or added to the product until you say yes.
How it works
An adviser at xAI built a ready-made set of bots for startup founders who sell their own product. It has one main bot and 8 helper bots, and each helper has one job. It comes with 16 scheduled jobs, and all of them start switched off. Setup asks about 20 questions about your company, your voice, and your best customers. At 7 AM, a bot prepares the sales emails and LinkedIn notes for the day. The whole batch waits for approval. It sorts each possible customer into KEEP, HOLD, or skip. Another bot writes a short note before each call and drafts the follow-up after it. A third bot sorts what customers say. When a topic comes up often, a bot writes a plan and opens a draft code change. It never adds the change to the product. At 8 AM, the main bot puts everything into one list for the founder.
How to set it up
- Install the set of bots in a new Grok Bot account.
- Answer the setup questions about your company, your voice, and your best customers.
- Connect email and calendar for reading and drafts only.
- Turn on each scheduled job only after you choose its time.
- Read and send every message yourself. Keep prices and contracts for yourself.
"Every Monday at 7am my time, find companies that match my ICP and posted about [problem] or hired for [role] this week. ... Sort everything into KEEP, HOLD, and DQ with one line on why. ... Put drafts in Gmail Drafts. Don't send anything, don't enroll anyone in a sequence, and don't change my CRM without asking."
Part of Workflows
- Bots find people who talk about your problem
- A bot drafts emails for you to approve
- Calls lead to notes and follow-up drafts
- Feedback becomes a plan for the product
What people report
In the sample week, 8 email and LinkedIn pairs were ready on Monday morning. Call notes were ready the night before each call. No sales numbers are given.
Why we rate it 8 out of 10
An official and complete example of bots that pass work to each other, with clear places where they stop. It has a prompt you can copy. It is a big setup.
How sure we are
Strong evidence Official xAI guides, or several people who reported it separately.
Official xAI guide from Oct 6, 2026, written by the person who built the set. A use case site lists it too. No sales results.
