Four hiring bots that pass each candidate from one to the next

Our rating8/10

Four bots share the hiring work. One finds where candidates fail, and one finds new people. One prepares interviewers, and one drafts your notes.

What it does by itselfIt asks you before it sends emails or submits feedback. It adds new candidate names to your hiring system by itself.

How it works

A hiring team at xAI built four bots. The first bot studies interview results and finds where candidates fail and why. It turns this into questions for the first phone call. The second bot learns from past hires. At night it finds new candidates, adds them to the hiring system, and writes emails to them. You approve each email before it goes out. The third bot sends a short note to the interviewer before each interview. The fourth bot reads the interview notes and drafts the feedback form in your words. Then it asks you a few questions, rewrites the form, and submits it. Each bot passes what it knows to the next one. You do not explain the same person four times.

How to set it up

  1. Do a task once with the bot and explain your thinking. Ask it to save the steps as a skill (saved steps the bot can reuse).
  2. Let it read your best messages and notes before it writes anything new.
  3. Turn each correction into a rule that it keeps.
  4. Make one bot for each job and let the bots pass work to each other.
  5. Approve every email to a candidate before it goes out.

What people report

The author says feedback forms no longer wait until 9 PM, and most of her day is with candidates again. No numbers are given.

Why we rate it 8 out of 10

An official guide with a clear order, where each bot feeds the next. Emails wait for your OK. Hiring data is private, so read the access rules first.

How sure we are

Strong evidence Official xAI guides, or several people who reported it separately.
