New to Grok Bot? You do not have to explain yourself again. Bring your notes and choices from another AI assistant into your main bot.
What it does by itselfIt saves what you import to its memory. It does not send or change anything else.
How it works
In October 2026, xAI added Import Memory to the Grok Bot settings. It takes what another AI assistant knows about you, such as your choices and background. It puts that into your main bot's memory. Your main bot is the one with the star. What a personal bot saves to memory, it remembers in all your chats with it. Only you can change that memory.
How to set it up
- Open Settings in Grok Bot.
- Find Import Memory to Grok Bot.
- Bring in your notes from the other AI assistant.
- Ask your main bot what it now knows about you.
- Remove anything wrong or too private.
